Cosmic Kay

Hoops come second-generation with Cosmic Kay, a hula hoop dancer who also works with bubbles. The style is interactive and high energy, and it suits roving spots at festivals and events as well as birthday parties and workshops for all ages. For a bigger activation there's an LED hoop glow zone. Fifteen hoops need a 9 by 9 metre space, ideally roped off, and 15 to 30 hoops need 15 by 15 metres with two performers running it. Bluetooth audio is enough for general hooping, and a secure green room for costume changes is requested. Expect Kay on site at least 30 minutes early. Credentials cover the lot: police check, public liability cover, first aid, fire safety training and a Working With Children Check. Based in Penrith, with travel up to 50 km.
