Cosima De Vito

Gala dinners and big sporting occasions are familiar ground for Cosima De Vito. She has sung the national anthem at the Melbourne Cup, State of Origin and the NBL All Stars game, and performed at the Prime Minister's Parliament Gala Dinner, a televised charity gala in Los Angeles and Channel 7's Carols by Candlelight. Many people know her from season one of Australian Idol, where she reached the top three, and her version of When the War Is Over went on to debut at No. 1 on the ARIA chart. She recorded in Los Angeles with songwriter Diane Warren, released a self-titled debut album that reached No. 2, and wrote songs for her next record, This Is Now. She also starred in the Australian tour of Hair. At Christmas she sticks with the classics, O Holy Night among them, and she tours with her own band. Sydney is home.
