Contraband is a cover band based in Perth, WA.
Contraband front their rock covers with two female singers. MJ brings the power on rock, blues and soul, and Cass takes more of the pop songs, with two guitarists, bass and drums behind them. The list is long and built for dancing: Go Your Own Way, Boys in Town, Call Me, Footloose, Dumb Things, Flowers, Don't Start Now, Blame It On the Boogie, Are You Gonna Be My Girl and About Damn Time, with Africa and Careless Whisper in there too. The Perth band keeps a large pool of fill-in musicians and offers several line-ups, which helps when your date is tight. They travel up to 300 km.
