Conor McCabe

Ask Conor McCabe for a lazy Sunday afternoon or a loud Saturday night and he'll play to either. The Brisbane singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist moved over from the UK, and his covers run from the 70s to today, mostly alternative and pop. On a quieter gig the set stays relaxed. On a big night it turns into party songs from start to finish, and he reads the venue to decide which. Back in Britain he played widely, and his originals duo Son of Cabe took him live to air on BBC Radio Introducing and onto the bill at The Great Escape festival in Brighton.
