Cocco plays his DJ sets with drums at hand. The Fremantle-based artist comes from Brazil, and he mixes Afro house, melodic techno and organic grooves, then plays djembe, bongos and other world percussion live over the top. That combination suits a late crowd that's happy to lose itself in rhythm, whether on a club floor, at a festival or at a cultural event, all places he's played for years. Expect deep electronic beats with a tribal, hand-played edge.
