Coastal Sound is a cover band based in Perth, WA.
Coastal Sound are a Perth trio playing mostly acoustic and semi-acoustic sets, with songs from the 60s right through to today. Electric guitars are finding their way into the show as the band keeps learning new material. The list is familiar singalong ground: What's Up, Wicked Game, Zombie by The Cranberries, You're So Vain, Proud Mary and Bad Moon Rising, Knockin' on Heaven's Door and White Wedding. Bass player Craig spent the 90s and 2000s in a string of bands around Perth pubs and the South West, and the three got together simply for the enjoyment of playing live. That relaxed approach sits well at a pub session, a party or an easygoing function. They'll need power, plus cover if rain looks likely, and they travel anywhere in WA.
