Coastal Drift is a cover band based in Perth, WA.
The Gov's Sports Bar on Rottnest has had Coastal Drift back 27 times, which says something about how this Perth five-piece handles a crowd. Strong lead vocals over a driving rhythm section, and a set list that keeps adding newer Triple J Hottest 100 songs to the old favourites: Lime Cordiale's Robbery, King of the Mountain, Under the Milky Way, Read My Mind, Learn to Fly, Dumb Things and Fake Plastic Trees. They bring everything, from PA and lights to instruments, plus their own sound engineer, and just need a 240v supply. Between sets they can play your Spotify or USB playlist. Other stops include Gidgestock and the Bickley Harvest Festival many times over, both Perth yacht clubs, the Lancelin Sands Hotel, the Parkerville Tavern, Bickley Valley wineries and council events. They travel statewide.
