Cliff And Bren is a musical duo based in Brisbane, QLD.
Two acoustic guitars and a lot of percussion between them. In this Brisbane duo, Brendan sings lead and plays rhythm guitar, while Cliff takes lead guitar and keeps the beat on a stomp box, and both add percussion. Everything is played live. Their covers run from 60s classics through rock, pop, jazz and funk to recent songs, and some get reworked in the spirit of Triple J's Like a Version, which keeps a long night interesting. A decade of gigs sits behind them, up and down Queensland and across into New South Wales, both together and in other bands, with originals in the mix as well as covers. Bars, cafes and restaurants suit them well, and so do weddings and company functions.
