It started at a best mate's wedding. chwis is a Wollongong DJ playing house, disco and pop with a warm, feel-good lean, and since that first set he's taken it to dance floors in Wollongong, Canberra and Sydney. One New Year's Eve at North Gong Hotel, he shared the bill with Bag Raiders, Eves Karydas and Cub Sport, and his venue list takes in Pepe's, La La La's, UC and Fun Time Pony. His focus is the crowd in front of him and keeping people moving, which, given how he got started, makes a wedding reception familiar territory.
