Cherry

Cheeky songs and a lot of laughing make up Cherry's solo musical comedy show. She sings originals and parodies of well-known tunes, poking fun at modern life with songs about online dating, Facebook addiction, nuisance bush turkeys and the ladies of Noosa, plus a Hallelujah parody and a few verses on why cucumbers beat men. Expect singalongs and a bit of dancing. She accompanies herself on ukulele and electric piano with a stomp box keeping time. Festivals usually get a 50-minute set, and the full stage show runs 90 minutes with an interval. She'll need two microphones, three inputs, foldback and room on stage for two hat racks. It works best as a special guest spot at a party or festival where people are ready to laugh. Home is the Sunshine Coast, and she'll go up to 100 km for a show.
