Chelsea is a musical soloist based in Brisbane, QLD.
Ukulele is where Chelsea starts, then the looping takes over: vocals, sax, keys, clarinet and melodica stacked up live, with a bass player underneath holding the groove. The sound moves through soul, reggae and indie-pop, and it's quirky and upbeat in equal parts. Chelsea plays a wide spread of covers, so the set can be pitched to a venue night, a wedding, a birthday or a private function. Past stages include Brisbane Festival and City Sounds, Alice Springs for Wide Open Space, Night Quarter on the Gold Coast and gigs along the remote WA coast. Home is Brisbane.
