Charlie Farmer fronts an indie rock band out of Newcastle, with a sound that draws on Hockey Dad and Fool Nelson. The live show is what's built his following, through gigs across Newcastle and wider NSW, including the Hoey Moey at Coffs Harbour. Support slots include Jordan Kenny, Clay Western at the Lass O'Gowrie, and a Drowning In Honey tour date with Mac The Knife out at Kahibah Sports Club, plus local bands like Trophy Wyfe and poltergeist 9000. His debut single, AGE, came out in September 2025 and made Newcastle Music Shows' Steel City 50 for that year. For a venue night or a party with a younger, gig-going crowd, it's a live band with its own songs.
