Charley Ryan's job is to stop the floor from ever emptying. The South Yarra DJ works the harder end of house, with hard groove, tech house and hard house all in the crate, plus plain club house, everything riding on heavy, driving basslines. Heavy doesn't mean grim here, since fun is half the brief, and the goal is a floor that stays busy all night. It's a new name coming through, and the music belongs at club nights and late birthday parties where the crowd came to dance rather than talk.
