Chantelle and Jon is a musical duo based in Melbourne, VIC.
Chantelle sings and Jon does just about everything else. With a looper pedal, he builds percussion and bass parts live while he plays, which gives the duo a fuller sound than two people would usually make. The set leans on soul and R&B with rock and pop in the mix: Back to Black, Higher Ground, No Scrubs, Respect, Hotline Bling, Moondance and Nutbush City Limits are all on it. Chantelle made the top 24 on The X Factor, appeared on Channel 7's All Together Now, has released eight singles and sang the theme for a kids' television series. Jon plays everything from jazz and R&B to rock, pop and soul. They need one power outlet and 3 m by 2 m of space. The pair are Melbourne-based, carry public liability cover and take bookings within 200 km.
