CARTER works two ways. There's the club side, built on dance, house and tech house, and there's a commercial side for functions that runs open format through party music, hip hop and R&B, and throwbacks. That split makes the Sydney DJ as useful for a brand launch or birthday as for a proper club night. CARTER also produces and runs a label, Goodside Records, and has put out tracks and remixes on Defected Records, Eton Messy, South Of Saturn, ASTRX and Vitalic Noise as well as Goodside. So the club sets come from someone who makes the music too.
