Carl Fidler is a singer based in Fremantle, WA.
Carl Fidler started out as a cabaret singer, supporting some well-known Australian crooners. In 2001 he formed The Dead Abigails. Triple J unearthed the band, which then put out the Code EP after a deal with Shock Publishing. Their songs got regular play on Triple J and Rage, and turned up on McLeod's Daughters, Big Brother and Young Lyons. The band was named an Oz Music Ambassador, toured the UK, and supported INXS, The Whitlams, Diesel and Grinspoon. That mix of crooning and rock stages gives him range for a dinner set or a livelier night. He's based in Fremantle.
