A DJ with a saxophone playing live over the top is what Captain Sax brings, and the sax lifts a party in a way a playlist alone can't. The music follows your theme: smooth lounge for a cocktail event, electro swing for a Gatsby night, or all-out sax anthems for a Eurovision party. Ahead of the night there's a music brief to fill in, and you can share a Spotify playlist so your favourites are ready on the day. Your performer gets in touch to make sure you know when they'll arrive, load in and set up. Options run from DJ/sax on its own to a duo or trio with vocals, percussion or violin. A solo set needs about 4 square metres and reliable power. Dave, the Captain himself, has played nearly 2,000 gigs. Every performer holds public liability insurance. Brisbane is home, with travel up to 200 km.
