Candice Long

Candice Long sings and plays acoustic guitar, a solo performer who has spent 14 years working Queensland stages, more than 100 venues in all. Festival bookings have included Woodford Folk Festival as part of Fretfest, along with Easterfest, Urban Country, Carols in the City and the Gympie Muster, and she was a semi-finalist in Star Maker at Tamworth. She has toured North America too, from Vancouver down to Nashville. In South East Queensland club circles she won Best Female Vocalist at The Entertainment Awards, and she has supported The Angels and Diana Anaid. Television viewers may have seen her twice on Channel Nine's Today show. As one voice and one guitar, she fits a pub, a club or a backyard party without taking over the room. She's Brisbane-based and travels up to 50 km.
