Calimera

Salsa is the core of a Calimera set. Carolina, the DJ behind the name, was born in Cali, Colombia, where salsa is part of everyday life, and she grew up around family parties where her parents danced for hours. By day she's a cinematographer, and she approaches a set the way she'd approach a film, building a story through rhythm instead of pictures. She's based in Sydney, and she's the one to call when your crowd includes salsa dancers or you're planning a Latin night.
