Keeping a floor moving is the whole job for DJ CAL, who plays tech house in an open format. He holds a residency at Ivy in Sydney and plays shows around New South Wales. The overseas bookings stand out too, with sets at Zouk in Tokyo and Ce La Vi in Shibuya. Open format means he isn't locked into one sound, so the set can bend towards what your crowd responds to while keeping that tech house drive underneath. He's at his best on a late night built around dancing.
