Crowd first, track second. That's how Cadel runs a set, picking each song to fit the room he's playing, how it feels and what the people on the floor seem ready for. He's been DJing for six years, and before that he learned piano and guitar and started producing music at 11, so there's a musician's ear behind the mixing. His party trick is blending genres in combinations you don't usually hear together, which keeps a dance floor from settling into one groove for too long. He's based in Sydney.
