Ron Kingston fronts Buddy Holly & Friends, a Melbourne show built on 1950s rock and roll. The Buddy Holly songs are the core, so expect Peggy Sue, Oh Boy, Rave On, Everyday, It's So Easy and That'll Be the Day. The friends part widens it out to Bye Bye Love and Wake Up Little Susie, Chantilly Lace, All Shook Up and Blue Suede Shoes, Rock Around the Clock, La Bamba and Johnny B. Goode. It's a fun, timeless set the whole room can enjoy, and it sits nicely at a Morning Melodies session, a retro party or a 50s theme night. Setup is simple. Ron brings his own PA speakers and lights, and all he needs is a power point. He has public liability insurance and travels nationwide.
