Brynstar

Brynstar learned to DJ in the bars and clubs of Wellington, New Zealand, back in the 90s. Sydney has been his patch for more than 25 years since, and he has played pretty much every kind of room the city offers: warehouse parties, music festivals, bars, nightclubs, plus a fair few radio shows. House music is the love, but the roots go back to funk, disco and new wave, which gives a set some colour beyond four-on-the-floor. That mix earns its keep at a party where the dancing needs a bit of groove and history under it. He's based in Surry Hills.
