Brown Sugar

Six players make up Brown Sugar's sound: Lady Lyric and Miguel George trade vocals out front, Michael Dolce is on guitar, Byron Luiters plays bass, Deni Di Filippo drums and Jonathan JC Corea covers keyboard and saxophone. That's a lot of tone colour to draw from, and it shows in a set built mostly around R&B and soul, with other styles mixed through. Sydney has come to know them as one of its more popular bands in that genre. Weddings, corporate events, private functions and festivals are all regular bookings, alongside straight venue nights.
