Brewn

Songs about real life are Brewn's stock in trade, and the Canberra five-piece plays them as country rock with plenty of Aussie pub rock mixed in. Michael Bond fronts the band on lead vocals and guitar, twin brothers John and Anthony Barbara are on drums and guitar, Bob Harvey adds a third guitar, and a bass player completes the line-up. Three guitars make for a big wall of sound, tight but with an edge, and the band works hard at connecting with whoever's in the room. They write their own material and play covers too. Brewn travels nationwide.
