Brendan Lenehan

Brendan Lenehan plays as B-rex, a Hobart DJ who's been doing it professionally for more than ten years. His mixing comes from dance music, but he borrows the turntable tricks of hip hop too, so genres get blended and cut together rather than simply played one after another. The idea is that the mix never sits still long enough to go stale. He sees his job as giving people an escape, a floor where they lose track of time between the drops. Book him when you want the dancing to feel like a proper club night.
