Brass Monkey

Brass Monkey are a Newcastle four-piece who lean hard on vocals and harmonies, covering songs from the 70s through to today. The list is rock-heavy and wide: Powderfinger's Sunsets, Talking Heads, U2's Angel of Harlem, Paul Kelly's Dumb Things, Seven Nation Army and Lonely Boy. Then it drifts into Bob Marley, Ben Harper, Billy Joel's You May Be Right and Queen's A Kind of Magic, with INXS, Mondo Rock and Duran Duran for the 80s crowd. Pubs, weddings and birthday parties suit that mix of sing-along rock and groove. They can supply a PA and lighting, and a sound engineer if you need one. They travel up to 50 km.
