Brad Gillies plays swampy blues, and the songs he writes keep coming back to Tasmania. He's a singer-songwriter from the island's north, and the isle turns up in a lot of his lyrics. The themes run darker than a party playlist: redemption, love, lust, loss and excessive consumption.
