Everything Boo Boo Muck plays comes off vinyl, from a record collection built up over decades. Her mix is 60s at heart. Garage and soul make up most of it, with funk underneath and a little disco on top. She gives a good part of the set to female-fronted and all-female bands, and to records sung in languages other than English, so plenty of it will be new to your guests. Boo also co-hosts and produces Love Buzz, a weekly radio show on 2SER 107.3. The Marrickville DJ suits a 60s night, a dance party or a bar where people want records they haven't heard before.
