Bon Appetit

Flamenco guitar and a soul singer is an unusual pairing, and it's what gives Bon Appetit their sound. Gerard plays flamenco and classical guitar, Rhiannon sings, and between them they cover soul and swing, funk, blues and Latin music, with some French gypsy jazz stirred in. It's music for a cocktail party or a wedding where you want something a little different drifting across the room. The Brisbane duo's festival list is long: Woodford, the National Folk Festival, Noosa Jazz, Island Vibe, Tyalgum, Oz Manouche and the Sydney Festival, as well as Brighton Fringe in the UK and Festival of Colour in New Zealand. They've sold out shows at QPAC, the Brisbane Powerhouse and the Spiegeltent. Weddings, private and corporate functions, cocktail events and venue gigs are all on offer.
