Bluesabelle

Cocktail jazz, deep funk, disco, Afro house, soul and hip hop all turn up in a Bluesabelle set, and she strings them together so the night tells a story. She has been playing vinyl for more than 20 years, in New York, Amsterdam, across Asia and at home in Australia. Along the way she's toured with The Wailers, Jazzanova, Black Eyed Peas and Mulatu Astatke. Now based in Brisbane, she builds each night around rhythm and atmosphere, so a set can open on smooth jazz and finish deep in the funk. That range makes her a strong option for an evening that starts with drinks and ends with dancing.
