Blue Martini is a cover band based in Newcastle, NSW.
Blue Martini suit the canapés end of a night: a five-piece playing blues and pop with a smooth, polished sound. The set list leans on strong voices, with songs from Amy Winehouse, Duffy, Dusty Springfield, Beth Hart and Carla Bruni, plus The Bamboos, Tom Waits, Tami Neilson and Bill Withers. It can also rock out a little, with Bon Jovi, Kiss and Jefferson Airplane in the mix. The Newcastle band plays clubs, hotels and restaurants, as well as private functions, corporate events and community festivals. They only need a 240 volt power outlet, and they travel up to 50 km.
