Blatant Saint

Walls of distortion are the first thing you notice with Blatant Saint. Underneath sit haunting melodies and raw, desperate vocals. The Brisbane band plays heavy shoegaze, and since its first release the sound has shifted from indie shoegaze towards something darker and more cutting. They've made their name in the city's underground scene. This is a band for a live music venue or a gig night with a crowd that wants volume and feeling, and the songs tend to hang in the air after the set is over.
