Black Cow is a musical duo based in Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Black Cow is Suzi and John, a pair from the Sunshine Coast with a long, eclectic song list and the feel of a much bigger band. They sing and play guitar live over custom backing tracks, made without the vocals and guitar parts, so the rest of the arrangement sounds like the record. The set crosses decades and genres: Steely Dan, Motown from the Four Tops, Bowie, Chicago, Toto and The Pretenders, with country from Lady Antebellum and Brooks & Dunn, plus Creedence, the Beach Boys and a couple of originals. It's easygoing music with enough bounce for some dancing later. Setup is simple, just a 240V outlet within reach. The duo is covered by public liability insurance and takes bookings right around Australia.
