Volume is the point. This Brisbane tribute plays the music of Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs as one long non-stop rock show, covering songs from 1963 right through to the final years. Poison Ivy, Rock Me Baby, Be-Bop-A-Lula and Most People I Know all get a run. Out front, Billy Aztec recreates Thorpe's look and feel on stage. The band is made up of professional musicians with more than 100 years of playing between them, and they go after that raw, raucous live sound the original fans remember. It suits a themed night or a private party where people want a rock show, not background music. They take venue bookings, themed events, private functions and special occasions.
