Billy Neal

Billy Neal sings and plays saxophone and guitar, and his career has a lot of London in it. Classically trained, he was playing both instruments from the age of seven. In the UK he formed and fronted a nine-piece blues band doing a Commitments and Blues Brothers tribute show, which toured Europe and released records on CD and vinyl. Along the way came gigs at The Savoy, the Hammersmith Palais, the Cafe Royal, The Roof Gardens and the Empire Ballroom in Leicester Square, plus a performance for Princess Diana at Chelsea Barracks. He moved to Western Australia in 2004 and now works from Perth, playing around Australia and heading back each year for three months of touring in Europe. Corporate events, weddings, cocktail dinners and private parties are his usual work.
