Billy Neal And Lez Karski

Blues and soul with a guitar-driven beat is what Billy Neal and Lez Karski bring, and it's made for dancing as much as listening. Billy sings and plays saxophone. The Perth musician has toured Europe many times, has worked with English violinist Nigel Kennedy, and spent four years with the late guitarist Jarek Smietana, making three CDs with his band. He has sung for Princess Diana and Princess Anne, and at London's Savoy, the Cafe Royal and the Hammersmith Palais. Lez sings and plays guitar in a style that's all his own, blues and soul with a hint of country. A founding member of Bondi Cigars, he brings songs from the bands he's played in over the years: the Hippos, Bondi Cigars, Foreday Riders, and The Donkeys and Nervous Investors from South and West Australia.
