Imagine a man standing on the handlebars of a bike while juggling a running chainsaw. That's one routine from BikeBoy, the Sydney circus act of Sean Bridges, who mixes bicycle stunts with balancing, juggling and improvised comedy. The show includes the Circus Bikepole, a silver bike spinning 14 feet in the air, plus a somersaulting bike he designed himself, a tailwhip bunnyhop, and riding in circles on the seat and handlebars while juggling knives. A comedy bit with toilet paper is part of it too. He's worked a range of stages but calls street performing his favourite challenge, so a festival, a fete or an outdoor crowd that gathers round suits this show well.
