Big Day Shout

Big Day Shout recreate the Big Day Out on a single stage. It's a five-piece Newcastle band playing festival anthems from the 90s through to the 2010s, fast and loud, with almost no gap between songs. If an artist played the festival, the song has a fair chance of being in the set, deep cuts included. The show runs two and a half hours, with a short film of classic festival performances at intermission, and you can add an hour-long DJ set of festival-era dance anthems. Production can come from the venue, built to the band's stage plot, or the band supplies full sound and lights. Either way, they'll need solid 240 volt power, a flat, dry route for loading in, somewhere to park near the stage door, and for upstairs rooms, a lift that's running. They travel across New South Wales.
