Ben X

Ben X plays house music, and his favourite corners of it are the soulful, jackin' and deep ends. Around that he spins disco, funk, soul and boogie, so a set can start warm and loose before it builds into a proper groove. He's a vinyl collector who has been playing records for more than 25 years, which shows in how the tracks sit together. He's based in Sydney, and he suits the after-dinner stretch of a party when guests are ready to shuffle onto the floor and stay there.
