Ben Malone

Ben Malone builds songs up live with a loop pedal, layering guitar and voice until a one-man set has people dancing. He sings songs made famous by men and women alike, from the 70s to now, drawing on Queen, Dolly Parton, Paul Kelly, Whitney Houston, Crowded House, Michael Jackson and Fleetwood Mac. He's played live for more than a decade, including years in cover and originals bands, and he teaches guitar and drums in the Southern Highlands as well as co-writing. Parties, weddings, functions, restaurants, pubs and funerals are all part of his work. Setting up takes 30 to 45 minutes. He brings his own speakers and needs just one power point. Based in Mittagong, he travels up to 50 km. He's covered for public liability and carries a Working With Children Check.
