Beatles Tribute Show is a tribute band based in Brisbane, QLD.
Halfway through the night the suits come off and the Sgt Pepper outfits go on. That costume change is part of what this Brisbane Beatles tribute does, moving from the tidy look of Beatlemania to the psychedelic years, with the staging shifting to match the 60s mood. The four players use period instruments and lean hard on the vocal harmonies. With more than 70 Beatles songs to draw on, the set can go from She Loves You to Hey Jude and most places in between, and there's a fair bit of humour and larks between songs. It's a dancing show as much as a listening one. The band has been together since 2008 and plays across greater Brisbane down to the Tweed Coast, so it suits a 60s theme night, a milestone party or a club crowd who grew up with the records.
