About
Beatles Tribute Band-1 is a tribute band based in Sydney, NSW.
Half the show at this Sydney Beatles tribute is the gear. The band plays the same models the Fab Four used: a Hofner violin bass, a Gretsch Country Gentleman, an Epiphone Casino, Rickenbacker 12-string and 320 guitars, a Gibson J-160E, Vox AC30 amps and a Ludwig kit in black oyster pearl with Zildjian cymbals. There's even a sitar that comes out now and then. The night runs in two halves. First comes a 90-minute set in 60s suits, taking you back to the early concerts with She Loves You, I Feel Fine, Twist and Shout and A Hard Day's Night. Then the Sgt Pepper costumes go on and the music moves to the later albums, Penny Lane included. It's a singalong from start to finish.
