Bear Brewer

Bear Brewer calls his music heartland folk, and there's nothing polished about it. The songs are honest and blunt, the kind that say the uncomfortable thing out loud. A live set mixes well-known classics with his own originals, and those originals are written for singing along, so a room tends to join in before long. He's a Hobart solo act, one performer carrying the whole show. Put him in front of a pub crowd or a backyard full of friends who'd rather join in than talk over the music.
