Barefoot Spacemen

Seven players and a lot of groove. Barefoot Spacemen come out of Naarm/Melbourne with a mix of funk, jazz, rock and neo-soul, built on classic Motown and disco with a nod to modern R&B on top. The songs feel familiar, but the arrangements bend between genres as they go. It's dance music first, with driving rhythms and a stage presence that draws the room in.
