Turkish and Anatolian pop, psych, funk and folk fill Baba Noir's record bag, along with newer Middle Eastern cuts made for the dance floor. He's a vinyl DJ with a following in Naarm, known for getting a party going and for records you won't hear from anyone else. In a club he mixes warm, dusty grooves with tracks built on traditional instruments, turning them into dance music.
