Australian Survivor Runner up Tara Pitt

Tara Pitt lasted all 55 days of Australian Survivor in 2017, through a cyclone, rain that wouldn't stop and the social game, and finished in the final two. That run sits at the heart of her talk about surviving life, which also takes in motherhood and the gap between what we expect and what we get. The talk runs about 30 minutes with colourful photos on screen, so she'll need a projector, a screen and a microphone. She also works as an MC. As host, she sets the tone early, introduces speakers and guests, keeps the program moving and fills the gaps between sessions, improvising where needed.
