Aussie Thunder is a rock band based in Eltham, VIC.
Three 50-minute sets of classic Australian hard rock is the usual Aussie Thunder night. The Eltham five-piece plays Rose Tattoo, The Angels, AC/DC, Divinyls, Noiseworks, Diesel, Jimmy Barnes, INXS, Hunters & Collectors and Dragon, with songs like Marseilles, Bad Boy for Love, Boys in Town, Jailbreak, Rising Sun and April Sun in Cuba. It's a loud, up-on-your-feet show. They bring a large PA, a light show and their own production, and can plug into a house PA instead. Allow about 6 x 4.5 metres, and expect them to arrive two hours early to set up and sound check. Pubs, clubs, festivals and private events across Melbourne and regional Victoria are their regular ground, and they travel statewide.
