Auld Alliance

Kilts, blue stripes and two voices in harmony: the Auld Alliance bring a Scottish and French folk night to your event. Graeme McCoglan, born in Glasgow, and Amie Brûlée play ukulele and double bass, moving between lively traditional folk songs and slower ballads from Scotland, France, Ireland and Australia. Expect Loch Lomond, La Vie en Rose, Caledonia and Sur le Pont d'Avignon, with material that reaches back to songs written in the 1790s. Want your guests on their feet? Add a Scottish ceilidh, where they call the dances and teach the steps as you go. Wine tasting can be part of the package, and they can even arrange bagpipers.
