Asta

Asta can fit the show to the room: acoustic, backed by a band, or behind the decks for a DJ set. She's an independent pop artist, born in Tasmania and now based in Darlinghurst, and her songs lean on funky basslines and a big vocal range. Triple J picked up her music early, and she won the station's Unearthed High competition. Since then she has earned ARIA certifications, two of them Gold, while staying independent the whole way. For a launch, a party or a festival-style event, you get an artist with her own catalogue of songs and a choice of formats.
